Meet Dr. Lauren Davis, DO

From a young age, I found myself intrigued by the intricate dance of science and the human body. Pursuing this passion, I graduated with a Biology degree from Ursinus College, Pennsylvania, where I also delved into exercise and sports science, alongside performance nutrition.

With a profound interest in human anatomy and osteopathic principles, I further developed my medical expertise at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. There, I not only pursued my medical degree but also took on the mantle of a teaching fellow, guiding future physicians in the arts of anatomy and osteopathic manipulation.

The culmination of my medical training was residency at Stony Brook University - Southampton which brought futher leadership roles and life-transforming events; chief among them was welcoming my first child into the world. As chief resident of our program, I navigated both professional and personal milestones, which deepened my understanding of the human experience and medical vocation.

Today, I am proudly dually board certified in family medicine and osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine. With continued education through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and the Institute of Functional Medicine, my philosophy has always been to seek out the best alternative therapies through my training.

As a Breastfeeding medicine physician, my focus lies in nurturing the maternal journey — specifically in elevating breastfeeding experiences through the lens of functional medicine. I founded Latched Nourished Thriving as a beacon for holistic mothers seeking knowledge and support.
